SO these district logos are interesting. Mine (10) is a bull or maybe an ox?
9 is corn
8 is sewing
4 is fishing
1 is a castle with a shiny crown on top
12 is a Mars tripod?
2 is blacksmiths maybe?
3 looks like gears
6 is jet skis?

That's gotta be wrong.

Any significance there in the books?

Maybe they have something to do with powers.

Each district specialized in something, sometimes in the Arena they were more skilled in a certain area because of it. ie: go catch a fish in the freaking lake

If that's the case, I'd really like to have the Martian Tripod. Those things were hard to kill.

Confession: I threw Survivor and Lost in there to see if I could get some identity clues by whoever responded. Thwarted.

Here's a clue for you.

I like Survivor. I did not enjoy the last two seasons of Lost very much.

Not sure about auto-killed, but the Capitol certainly won't appreciate it, and who knows what the gamemakers will send your way.

Also, as previously mentioned, each district has a specialty. These may or may not give information as to what the tributes have or are skilled in, but the district specialties are:

District 1 - luxury items
District 2 - stone quarries (also trains the peacekeepers)
District 3 - electronics
District 4 - fishing
District 5 - power
District 6 - transportation
District 7 - lumber
District 8 - textiles
District 9 - grain
District 10 - livestock
District 11 - agriculture
District 12 - coal
