Probably the most appropriate thread for me to post this in, what did Roguewriter do that warrants the "good things" about him thread on the EBB?

Sounds like he defended a bunch of boardies on Facebook. I think the purpose of that thread is multi faceted.

No, he apparently got upset because Arran said something shitty about him (I don't know what, I rarely pay attention) and defriended a load of EBB people, seemingly indiscriminately.

Yeah, I've only gone over long enough to beg you guys to come here. So...I'm not the best person to ask about EBB goings-on.

I'd like to mention I used another method to work out his identity but I don't share my methods.

If I had kept track of identities, and not been distracted, I would have liked "Peeta" for Mutt 1 instead.

I had just downloaded the books and started the first one the day I died. Got like a quarter way through, then noticed I'd died and said fuck it. Might finish them... I did like what I read.

Do you find the voice helps as a deterrent to crime? After I watched Comic Book Men when they were discussing it, I tried to use the voice IRL to try and convince someone to do what I wanted and it failed miserably. Thoughts?

I think it works for me a bit. I use the voice, but I also position my 6 foot 205lb frame in a menacing way and level my eyes on them with a slight squint.

This gets me the results I expect more times than not.

Of course my 2 and 5 year old just get mad and punch me. They hate anything that isn't daddy's real voice.

bedtime story time is a complete mixed bag of loving daddy doing story voices and hitting daddy when he does Mickey or Elmo.

Thanks, I was really glad I got to go back. And I can't believe you could put it down. I couldn't do that until I finished the book. But that's the way I always read.
